Does the federal tax rate up in 2011?
I am a worker under-only gross $ 15,000 a year. In my first check of this new year (for 2 weeks) my federal taxes rose to $ 15.00 as follows last year. FICA year dropped $ 11.00 past (I read in the paper that follows the rate this year was frm falling 6.2% to 4.2%), so I hoped that my take home pay to rise somewhat. Since my salary Gross is so low that it does not seem fair that the federal rate would rise so much. I'm bringing home $ 4.00 less per paycheck than last year.
The "Making Work Pay Credit "only in effect during 2009 and 2010 for the retention of Federal worldwide will rise somewhat in 2011.
