The Monroe Planning and Zoning Commission (P&Z) heard more than three-and-a-half hours of testimony on the proposed new McDonald’s during a public hearing Thursday night. In the end, the applicant for the fast food restaurant said they would consider altering the building’s design to give it a more Colonial look, based on comments by P&Z members and the public.
