What is the political climate of India?
I am an American curious about the politics of India.
Every nation has a distinct political climate. It is, in my opinion, made up of things such as key domestic issues, national sentiments, nature of the elections and government, etc. For example, in the United States, I would say that our economy is what we are currently most focused on. The people in general are strongly admire the ideals of indvidual freedom/individualism and are distrusting of any government regulation in general. Although elections are USUALLY relatively fair, there are notable exceptions, and our politics is completely dominated by political parties and partisan divides.
What do you see in the political climate of India?
In case of India…….the political ‘climate’ is highly unstable,divided ….. so you can replace climate with weather and ask what or how is political weather in India .My answer is…..it is stinkingly dynamic…there can be abrupt changes in the temperature,pressure and precipitation conditions……we can expect heat waves in one part of India and at the same time Cold waves in some other places . So, it is truly distinct . And here regional,religious,caste sentiments dominate national interests…..we give lot of importance to sentiments…till now there are no proper ointments for curing sentiments.
