A battle between co-workers can devastate an organization as a battle between the parties can divide politicians nation. We will continue with the organization, for now, because it seems that nothing can stop the incessant ranting and ineffective Congress.

The current members of all political stripes could learn much from the direction of former U.S. President Abraham Lincoln. Because Lincoln was a true leader and our current members of Congress are not. It may also be true for some members of his organization. Gladly the face of opposition and challenges that leaders do not escape responsibility. It is one of the things he does Lincoln a great leader. • The first listen. Stay calm and listen with respect to what is said.
  • Oppose Recognizing communication. You may recognize one of two ways: the sincerity or empathy. But seriously when I do, "I can understand how you feel this way" is much better than "Oh yeah?
  • Disagree, but with respect. State your reasons on the basis of facts.
  • Keep your emotions under control. Do not lose your composure. Once you do, you have lost much of its influence. An apology will not cut it later.
  • Never become personal. In business, personal intention is best to keep out of it unless it is specifically linked to question in hand.
  • Knowing when to end the conversation. It is better to have a plan – Even for a short meeting – which clearly identify your goals. Stick, then end the conversation. loss of time.
  • Humour permits. LaFrankie Susanne often said she learned it is always right and Darrell Browning never wrong. There.
