Does Arizona’s new Illegal Alien Law; apply to Non-Latin looking Americans?

“First they came …” is a famous statement attributed to Pastor Martin Niemöller (1892–1984) about the inactivity of German intellectuals following the Nazi rise to power and the purging of their chosen targets, group after group. The text expresses, in a condensed form, the understanding of history presented by Niemöller in a January 6, 1946 speech before representatives of the Confessing Church in Frankfurt.

It applies to anyone who, according to the suspicions of the officer in question, might not be an American citizen.
If I were to be sitting in a parked car in some parking lot in Phoenix at 2am, an officer approaches me, and I respond in broken English with a Czech accent he could ask me for proof of citizenship regardless of my skin color.
I am still mixed about this law. Although it *could* be a useful tool to locate and deport *some* illegal aliens, I suspect it will ultimately cause more harm than good. Arizona decided it was through waiting for the Federal Government to do something about border security.
