Did you know that Rupert Murdoch supported a Labor government that introduced universal healthcare?

Rupert Murdoch supported the Australian Labor Party when Gough Whitlam was elected in 1972 on a program of social change (which included universal health care). The social reforms were introduced. Later he backed a different horse.
