The progress of African-Americans

From the point of view, perhaps the period of Reconstruction was the best or the worst time in history, especially for the progression of people who were considered, African-Americans. Over 18 and 19 hundreds, relations between blacks and whites have been and in many cases, is particularly intense, especially because it seems to African-Americans, the rules, but there was no common, have never changed financial, social, culturally and politically. The period 1876-1865 marked a turning point that had limited potential troubled by mental illness of racism, often invited the darkness and despair. This was the period of reconstruction around slavery and, although course, cotton. Considered difficult reconstruction especially in states where the population a higher percentage of blacks. The devastation on the economy and the beginnings of a new social structure is the tolerance of race relations impossible. In 1965 the U.S. Congress established the Office of freedmen in the War who participated in many important functions. Many of these functions is to assist schools creating and protecting the civil rights of former slaves, however, after the end of the civil war and the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln, the President Andrew Johnson put on love, the readmission of former Confederate States invited shares of white supremacy. The intimidation and violence has been used as a means to a hardening of progress between the races and because of this practice in 1866, the Ku Klux Klan was created.

Although there were many failures, despite the rise of terror groups like the Ku Klux Klan, which remains a disgrace to white people, and remains a embarrassment on many occasions in the United States. During the era of Reconstruction, blacks in the civil service. First senators under name Hiram R. Revel (1827-1901) and Blanche K Bruce (1841-1898), he was chaplain of black troops during the Civil War. Not only have they been first, but senators than black, during the reconstruction period. There were other black and white biracial Mississippi favored political societies, which eventually formed the basis of political support that included Republicans North had left other states.

Yet little has changed for blacks, especially when it approved the first Mississippi, and could add the most famous Black Code ridiculous and dehumanizing of the law. This meant that blacks and could be punished differently than whites, the early gaps in the legal system still exist today, for any and all crimes, including acts insulting. Recently I visited a courtroom by one of my children to foster care and realized the enormous amount Blacks are represented by white lawyers and then standing in front of white judges awaiting their fate. It reminded me of memories of a former slave where old black man Sat wait a promise that would never see a white doctor to do better. The mentality of this person and others like him, it somehow, as he believed, would be the white man would do well for him. It seems fairly obvious that blacks could not be the only race of people break the many laws that exist on earth but everything that was present in a predominantly white county despair of Maryland, the courtroom full of mostly young black males. Are the black people who break the law? Of course not, but the United States, which are the only race of people persecuted as livestock, often leaving their families back too poor to afford decent legal presentation. According to many of the publications referred in spite of the existing stereotypes, whites, blacks not collect the majority of dollars of public subsidies in this country and whites, blacks are among the highest number of drug addicts and rapists Minor. According http://www.yellodyno.com/html/child_molester_stats.html "Although nearly 70% of those serving sentences for violent crimes against children were white, whites accounted for 40% of those imprisoned for violent crimes against adults. "

The complexity and changing white attitudes toward the institution of slavery and the idea of what they have done for African-Americans in the areas achieve their own freedom at the moment, considered essential to the way which many see as an American past that never be forgotten. Nation of Nations, p. 477, "With the exception of the Haitian Revolution (1791-1804) United States United Kingdom is the only company in the Americas where the destruction took place of slavery by violence. "And it seems that most prices land and the declining cotton market, in the absence of experience in these days may have been a direct consequence of the disconnection a free labor force and people are not coerced and forced to work and build a country by the sweat of the back. According to the book, Slavery and the U.S. economy, by H. Waldron Giles, Ph.D., "the African slaves first hit the shores of United States in 1619 and were constantly imported in the United States until 1860, although imports have been declared illegal in 1808. In Over the past 246 years they have contributed more than 605 million hours of free labor, which financed the Industrial Revolution, funded by the Most of the Fortune 500, has helped finance two world wars, and has left a negative impact on an entire race sociological population. "

The hope of true unity against African-Americans appears to have been destroyed during the reconstruction period and remains a problem of definition. The dispersion and dissemination of African peoples throughout the world has literally impossible for African Americans belong to a nation to which those who live and / or experience any kind of common culture is experienced by many other races of people. Even today many victims of African descent are many things for them in the past and can not escape the control of freedom and wealth, often directed and dispersed through and others. Make no mistake, slavery is recognized as a thriving institution, the peoples of African descent are the most important trade between Europe and West Africa.

It was in 1915 that with the name historian Dr. Carter G. Woodson developed the Association for the Study of Black life and history, now known as the Association for the Study the Afro-American Life and History (ASALH). Only in the disclosure and the definition of the history and contributions of African-Americans, a country that dropped the hate and dysfunction, then we can begin to understand the struggle, strength, motivation, intelligence, ignorance, determination, perseverance and especially the psychology behind the mentality of a particular people of color and transparency. In 1975, President Ford posted a message on the observance of Black History week in a bid for all Americans aware of the contributions made by African-Americans the life of our nation and culture. In 1986, Congress passed Public Law 99-244, which he founded in February 1986 as Month of the history Blacks. In January 1996, President Clinton issued Presidential Proclamation 6863 of the Month National Black History and in 2009, our first Black President of United States, a man who had been deprived of social services and only a few decades of political equality within the Supreme Judicial America. Obama President welcomes the issuance of Presidential Proclamation 8345.

Recognizing the fact that even today remains strong, relations between whites and all people of color, particularly African Americans, there is always the promise of a better tomorrow than yesterday. When I think of the years the civil rights movement 60 of the past great leaders like Martin Luther King, Malcolm X and Nelson Mandela, I really believe there is a God who has the hands of a people continues to grow in spite of all obstacles that are thrown his way and, despite all its faults, which appear to have learned a past incredible and undeniable unmatched. It is slowly, not reaching to be so rare to see African-Americans to key positions, mostly occupy high political office in the United States. When I think of Condoleezza Rice, Thurgood Marshall, Colin Powell, and President Barack Obama, my spirit rises to high levels of satisfaction, honor, respect and hope. But it is not uncommon to the constant watchful eye on each something that Obama has said and increased the hatred and rejection given the highest office in this country, our President of the United States because of his race.

Here's a strange feeling that surrounds me when I think of those moments, past and present each of us could have tolerated more, received less often and to forgive. When historians think of reconstructing the past and when we think that the rebellion Conservative, whether on issues of energy and the environment from the environment, terrorist attacks, the economy, politics foreign, immigration, taxes, technology, war, and especially race relations work in harmony with the first black president, frustrations continue to grow, while the sensitive relationship between the media, big business, religion and politics in the United States and abroad, to prohibit the restoration of faith in this country and around the world. Unfortunately, these are the ingredients that make the soup bitter and not Edible contains poisons that stomach pain and destroy the meaning of the ingredients that make up the whole plate until nothing is left in the pot to feed everyone. It is the interpretation of maps, analysis of newspapers and books written by partners viable to accept any kind of important social and political reform. In short, America must put its legacy of racism and hatred and destruction non-white behind her, or she, probably, fall, after all, accounts of the past that often reflected in the party spirit of those are involved in litigation that seem to last a lifetime. With a lot of old, obsolete or just strictly called Catholic politicians who cling these high-level positions of power for ever die slowly, a viable possibility that younger generations will be able to bring a sense of unity and equality in the political arena in the country. In short, the people, we are all in this life together, we like it or not!

The progress of African-Americans continue to move forward despite all the locks I hate the road permanently placed on the bellies of people who are against the very existence of a particular people who are still trying to find their way through a jungle of isolation and despair. In contemplating the unity of all the other races to have the opportunity to choose to come to America's yours, my heart is with those who are of African descent. The very notion of going from black in color, black and African-American shows now the division, confusion, uncertainty and the separation of a race of people are still struggling to find inner peace. I'm still not comfortable with the title imposed on me by People who are comfortable having to label people constantly and can not and never understand what is called or referred to in the United States as African-American. To not know what means to be African American or black, it's ignorance against ignorance. Lack of communication and knowledge in the country was widespread during the election process when our now Obama, the first lady to be proud of their country is to the first time and was ridiculed by the same people who seemed to know nothing about the constant racist minority behavior that only blacks and others including Latinos, it seems that we have in this country, how sad, but I know that many Latinos can be identified with it, especially because now they know many things blacks have had to overcome in the past. Just see me in black, mostly in America, because I know they see me as black first, no matter what I seem to look Caucasian. I do not know much of Africa. Therefore, I am not able to identify completely with people from Africa. Why am I a black dial? I am a black American, born and raised in the United States. Have you my point of view?

In closing, I want to repeat my opening words, when I wrote, based on the perspective, perhaps the period of reconstruction was the best or the worst time in history, especially for the progression of people who were considered, African-Americans. When I think President Obama, I think that former presidents John F. and Robert Kennedy, Jimmy Carter, William J. Clinton, Harry Truman and Abraham Lincoln. When I think of George Bush Senior, Junior and Ronald Reagan, I think that former presidents Herbert Hoover, James Madison, Ulysses S. Grant, Andrew Johnson and Woodrow Wilson. It is often through the face of our presidents past and present, we begin to measure the progress the U.S. despite itself and its ability to further strengthen and yet. Thanks to the reconstruction that is in question, without fear and to strengthen commitment to the quality of life for all its citizens without distinction race, economic status or religion. With the historical evolution of African-American communities, the ongoing struggle for civil rights and equality Opportunities will always be a constant part of the black existence. In light of over one hundred years of constant struggle for rights and opportunities, white, and communities black were finally able to realize the ideals of the civil war that both whites and blacks had fought for, but the fact is that even after the end of the Civil War, African Americans / Blacks, but released, continued to experience no change in status and continues to suffer from oppression Economic and policy continues today. He is and will always be given the period 1865-1876 during the most dramatic in the history of African-Americans because this is when the dreams of liberation and new life was at its peak and was at the end the dream of any sense of liberation had been ruined, those like me remembering the 60s when blacks were in a Ward mobility up only to have had drugs and weapons handed in their approach before banning any form of success there. Sometimes I think we are like sheep following the slaughter wolves, but we know that the wolf that knows the best way to make African-Americans, in particular, apparently by a gradual path to self-destruction, dressed in the fashion of the 20th century as a means narrow path of true freedom.

Barack Obama as president?

Now that we have our first African American president I thought .... with the amount of people we have in the United States are still very racist that you think is the possibility of assassination attempts against him? I thought about it last night and he really shaken just thinking about it. How many times do you think your life (or family) is threatened in 4 years? It is a wonderful thing that we have our first president black, but I wonder ... and concern about what it means to him and his safety. Bob ... which can be protected, but so was JFK and he was still murdered. It's just a matter of what people think. Lorench ... I agree with you ... I've never really crossed mind.

It will save your life and safety (and your family) in the hands of the secret services. If Obama will be able to do your job, you can not worry about the bullet of an assassin every minute of every day. concern therefore very real, very consistent 24 / 7 is the threat must register on the shoulders of Obama's secret service. I think they are ready for anything.
