Speech from George W. Bush to compare to Barack Obama?
Hi there.
I’m writing a report on approx 15-20 pages about the US 2008 presidential election. I’m am going to focus on voting behavior but also the methods used by Obama in the campaign. I am going to do a rhetorical analysis of a speech (transcript) by Obama and compare it to a speech by Bush, from either the 2000 or 2004 election.
In this analysis I am focusing on what were the main topics in the 2008 election, such as: the financial crisis, the war in Iraq or national security.
So the question goes: does anyone know two speeches that would be good to compare? (there’s only one ‘rule’; it can’t be Obama’s “Berlin speech”).
Furthermore, does anyone know where I can find transcripts of i.e. speeches given by Bush?
