Why did Obama revoke an Army major’s deployment to Afghanistan, rather than produce his own birth certificate?
Major Stefan Cook, US Army, challenged his deployment order to Afghanistan on the basis that Barack Obama was not born in the United States, therefore was not legally commander in chief.
The day before the case went to court, where his attorney could subpoena the birth certificate to be produced, the army revoked Cook’s orders to go to Afghanistan.
Why would the President release an Army officer from having to serve in Aghanistan, rather than produce his own birth certificate for inspection in court?

Fascinating whimsy. You are correct an officer must obey a legal order; he must also disobey an illegal order. For the Army to discharge Cook all they had to do was prove that the order was legal. Rather than prove the deployment order was illegal — which would only require Obama to show his birth certificate — instead the the Army cancelled the deployment order.
You ask this question as if you didn’t already know the answer.
Just for argument’s sake, let’s pretend you don’t.
Obama will not produce his birth certificate. Doing so would reveal that he obtained the office of the president illegally and land him in Club Fed for the rest of his life.
