Kennedy to be buried at Arlington National Cemetery
Senator Edward M. Kennedy, died Aug. 25 to 77 years, year after a struggle with brain cancer, will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery, near his brothers killed, former President John F. Kennedy and former Senator Robert F. Kennedy. This show will be broadcast on all major networks: ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, FOX and PBS, and can be seen on DISH Network.
An officer on the agreements to The Associated Press said Wednesday that Kennedy, the lion left the Senate for nearly half a century, is buried next to his brothers in the famous hill Virginia, which served as the burial of another clan floors, including former first lady Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the agreements were still in progress. Without doubt, President Barack Obama will join the bachelor party of four former presidents George HW Bush, George W. Bush, Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton. Imagine the level of security required to protect the five presidents, past and present in Washington at the same time. The last time we were all together was at the inauguration of Barack Obama in January 2009.
Although the actual funeral arrangements have not yet revealed it seems that Washington DC will be the scene of another memorial that is a president of the United States even though it never reached the high office. However, it does serve as a U.S. senator from Massachusetts for nearly 47 years, 1962-2009, with only two senators who have served longer periods, Senator Robert Byrd of West Virginia, and the late Senator Strom Thurmond, South Carolina, in the history of the nation. A senior defense official said the Kennedy family, some time ago approached the Army to explore the possibility of burying Senator in Arlington Cemetery's most famous the nation's fallen soldiers and the resting place of astronauts, the Supreme Court and other giants of American history.
The place most likely would be near the grave of his brother, Robert, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the family announced arrangements.Kennedy yet eligible for burial at Arlington, under his service in Congress and two years in the Army from 1951 to 1953. He was a corporal and served in the military police at the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe, then in Paris and now in Belgium.
