Are Blacks Against Obama ?

Barack Obama’s campaign rally in Coral Gables, Florida Friday was interrupted by a group of about 10 African-American protesters holding signs that called themselves, “Blacks Against Obama.”

Are whites against McCain?

Really, just like the skin heads don’t speak for all white people. Radical black groups don’t speak for all black people. The truth is some blacks like Obama just like some blacks like McCain. Some blacks are against Obama just like some blacks are against McCain. The same is true for whites. To pre-judge an entire race as being for or against anyone or anything is prejudiced (the definition of prejudice- is to pre- judge) and WRONG. If you’d get to know black people you’d find that we’re humans too, and just like there are sub groups in the white community (like the KKK and skinheads, country people, head bangers, goths, etc…) and the mexican community (illegal immigrants, people with 12+ kids, people who hate blacks, people who do and don’t speak spanish) there are sub groups in the black community too, so don’t group us all together. I would never think all white people are backwoods country people, nor would I think all mexicans are illegal immigrants. I think it’s HORRIBLE to classify a whole race as being completely any of the above groups. I find it’s always better to get to know people as individuals NOT as races. God made us all the human race concentrating on differences and prejudging only creates hatred, misunderstandings, and division.

btw… just so you’ll know, many of the black people I know find it offensive to be called African Americans, especially those who don’t come from Africa and are a mixture of a variety of races (like the color black on the color wheel). There are some that don’t mind though.
