This question was answered long long ago. Several lawsuits now have been thrown out of court. The Republicans keep bringing up new ones and they all get summarily dismissed.

This is actually something the Republican Party has done for years. For instance, during Bill Clinton’s two terms, the Republicans accused him of many serious crimes. These accusations were investigated more thoroughly and expensively than any accusations in history! By the Republicans themselves! And no real evidence was found for them. But the Republicans kept repeating the accusations for years, talking about them as if they’d been proven, and all the time adding new crimes to the list. To this day, some Republicans still believe that Bill Clinton murdered staff members, raped a woman, sold drugs, and sold US nuclear secrets to the Chinese for campaign contributions.

This kind of smear campaign is actually one of the GOP’s favorite tactics. During primary campaigns they do it to EACH OTHER!

Obama’s birth certificate has been examined by non-partisan experts. Its been investigated up to the highest levels of our government. Not to mention that his birth announcements appear in TWO contemporary newspapers.

So give it up already!
