Is Fox News and Rush Limbaugh essentially the cult brainwashing of Americans?

Rupert Murdoch is the owner for most of media and Rush is paid over 200 million euros for their "thoughts" .. as the Messiah and so people are called Obama "the same "heads and in very poor condition. It seems very sectarian. people brainwashed to believe things a certain way. I saw this documentary on Fox TV and the power of Murdoch. I was wondering if anyone thinks that people are just brainwashed. My whole family is listening and therefore limited in their thinking. My sister was convinced that Barack is Muslim etc. I think that's true, they are indoctrinated. Thanks for your responses.
