barack obama fairness doctrine

Is this a sample of the fairness doctrine to come?
Is this excerpt for real?
Obama attacked the most divisive issues this country has. Over 65% of people do NOT think Gitmo should be closed, and in essence he signed the death sentence of millions of babies around the world. This country has always been polarized on this issue. He has done NOTHING for the economy to date.
Is this reporters writing just a sample of the information we will receive under the fairness doctrine?
WASHINGTON (AP) – Barack Obama opened his presidency by breaking sharply from George W. Bush’s unpopular administration, but he mostly avoided divisive partisan and ideological stands. He focused instead on fixing the economy, repairing a battered world image and cleaning up government.

No…but that doesn’t make the Fairness Doctrine any less of an offense to our freedom of speech…there is nothing fair about mandating anything when it comes to “free” speech
“Poor People have been voting for Democrats for the last 50 years,
…………and they are still poor.” Charles Barkley
“When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic.” — Benjamin Franklin
“I am for doing good to the poor, but I differ in opinion of the means. I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it.” — Benjamin Franklin
“To take from one, because it is thought his own industry and that of his fathers has acquired too much, in order to spare to others, who, or whose fathers, have not exercised equal industry and skill, is to violate arbitrarily the first principle of association, the guarantee to everyone the free exercise of his industry and the fruits acquired by it.” — Thomas Jefferson, letter to Joseph Milligan, April 6, 1816
“I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.” — Thomas Jefferson
“I cannot undertake to lay my finger on that article of the Constitution which granted a right to Congress of expending, on objects of benevolence, the money of their constituents.” — James Madison, 4 Annals of Congress 179, 1794
