Why do people think because Barack Obama is president that all of a sudden erases the problems of blacks?
To even suggest this is a joke. 25% of blacks are poor, that’s a really big number. Do you think Superman Obama can change that? No. How does a black guy being president change anything? You have hope, yea sure. But I doubt Obama would have became president if he wasn’t half-white. You can cry foul, but you know it’s the truth. An answer to a question of how black people are treated in America, and some sellout idiot said, we have a black first family enough said. What world are you living in? I wish you could see what I see when I am in the big brother/big sister program mentoring kids in the ghetto.
So digressing what do you think?

@ Belle you hardly answered my question, and it didn’t change anything but gave black people false hope.
For the past 200 years, I don’t believe I’ve ever encountered a White person feeling as if there’s hope since a White man is in office. Blacks really shouldn’t allow such a sense of false hope to envelop them.
Well I wasn’t alive 200 years ago either. But I still doubt a White person has had this feeling.
