Blagojevich, the media and the race card

I do not write about politics. This last statement may surprise some of my readers common. "Szandor," you think, likes to write about politics. What do all the time. "Well, the last part of this statement may be true, but The first part is actually a misconception. I write about politics because I think I should. Given the choice, I'd rather write a horror novel or some fantasy. This is what I consider good. I free In my imagination.

I have read very few other writers who share my views on politics however, even if I talk to many people, ordinary people like me who do. There seems to be a distinct lack of punters out there that are in contact with the common man. I think there is a large contingent of people who just want the government to leave them in peace and yet almost no voice an opinion. Of course not, I know that traditional media ago. It meant that ordinary people are struggling to really express the principles that will live, because they do not quite put my finger on what those principles are. Of anyway, so I started writing about politics, after all, my opinion is as good (or bad) as any other.

Politics is a Business dirty, dirty. It seems that the worst of people. Or maybe he just attracts the worst kind of people. After all, it takes a certain personality, one that aspires to power and the ability to control people and events, a control freak, so to speak, be a politician. At least that's the impression I have the action of most politicians I know. So I was not surprised at all when I learned that the Governor of Illinois, Mr. Rod Blagojevich, was captured by the government federal to do something illegal. What surprised me is that he charged. After all, he really does not do anything politicians have done most others. In fact, I bet that ninety percent of all politicians have done something illegal (not to mention ethics) at some time during their mandate is, if these things paris is legal. It ask is, "Mr. Blagojevich has shit?"

But that does not seem to matter to the media or most of the public. Perhaps that the government we deserve, after all. There is no doubt in my mind the corruption of our government at all levels is endemic and God knows what more we him. We as a society do not continue, however, to put up with him and when a politician falls, it seems that we are a society tend to regard it as a good entertainment that contempt should be. And if the media made a show of jokes and follies Mr. Blagojevich and experts opining on their current actions.

But perhaps Mr. Blagojevich is not as silly as these experts might think. Of course, it took way that suggests he should have been better but also knows the law and the law says you are innocent until proven otherwise. Lawyer in this case has not set a trial date, however, let alone condemned it. Thus, Mr. Blagojevich decides she has to start working for change, and Roland Burris called to fill the vacancy in the Senate by Barack Obama when he was elected president. It was probably a policy motion smart enough by the Governor. Roland Burris is a very popular figure in his community, and he is black. There's nothing like stirring a little controversy to divert attention from impeachment imminent.

Personally, I like talking about race. Black, white, Asian, Hispanic, Indian, which is not really important. What matters is that we are all human beings. These collectivist terms we use to classify our brothers in different groups only serves to divide us. But in this particular case, the color of human skin seems to have become very important for those involved in this debacle and all reports to regard. It was Mr. Roland Burris made a statement to be the only black man Senate. So what? Do you think that is reason enough for the seat in the House? Do you think he is the spokesman for the entire black community? Well, call me cynical, but I'm not so sure. Moreover, not serving the people of Illinois, regardless of breed, best if it focuses on the preservation of states' rights? It is, after all, as far as I'm concerned, the main reason the founders designed the upper house of Congress the way he did. Time was, after all, when all senators are appointed by the Congress of State and non-elected popular vote.

While we are group of people, here is something to think about. Of course, we have a black man in the Senate, but we have not a common man either. I think the vast majority of senators, if not all, are very well done. Most if not all of them go to clubs and even eat in restaurants, even fantasy. Most of them are better than you and I to implement can ever hope to be useful. Judging by Mr. Roland Burris bio, I tend to group political elite with others who seek power over us poor slobs. Maybe I'm misjudging and is not privileged, but I bet ports elitist socialist ideals, as many of our politicians today. I bet it's as control freak than anyone in the Capitol.

If Mr. Blagojevich really wanted controversy, he would have preferred a Joe on the street and put him in office, someone who has a reputation for honesty and with no political experience whatsoever. Better yet, it should have chosen someone with libertarian ideals fighting for individual rights and the size of government. That really would be a shot of talks in the works. I can not think about few who would be more disturbing for the ruling elite in Washington DC in a minority of one who has never made more than 40 or 50 thousand per year (or less) that filters at his club as an equal. However, a man most likely "serve" their constituents better than those who were ordained could ever hope to serve. Perhaps a One man even expose corruption and hypocrisy of these right-wing political career on the Senate floor for the world to see. I'm going again. As I said before, I wanted to unleash my imagination.

But then, maybe I'm wrong about the situation. Perhaps Mr. Blagojevich has not even realize that Mr. Burris is black and who had nothing to do with why the governor decided that the former bank examiner / / Controller of Attorney General. Perhaps this was because Mr. Burris really fight in Congress for the little guy. Perhaps Mr. Burris was not referring to himself and friends and will fight to restore individual freedom for all Americans. Perhaps this is not politics as usual. Perhaps Mr. Burris does not do what most other politicians do, use their position to reward friends and supporters and punish their enemies. Perhaps Mr. Blagojevich Burris was appointed by the governor realizes Burris is not a political insider and be a maverick in the Senate. Perhaps Mr. Blagojevich is trying to take revenge on those who try to put in jail by appointing a person who really have the rest of the Senate for the job.
