The field the number of contenders for Public idiot keeps growing. Sen. Richard Shelby of Alabama recently pretended to believe that Barack Obama was not born in U.S. states, and therefore is not really the president. Talking to a group of components, Saturday, Shelby said: "His father was from Kenya and said he was born in Hawaii, but I have not seen a birth certificate. It should be in America to be president. "(1)

This situation is alarming.
