Did anyone see Barack Obama on the Daily Show?
Senator Obama was on the Daily Show last night via Satellite, and I thought it was very good. Jon Stewart doesn’t worship Obama and ask him easy questions, either. He brings up valid talking points and gets the Senator’s opinions on them.
One of the best quotes from the interview:
“That whole socialism argument, that doesn’t fly too well,” Obama said. “The evidence of this seems pretty thin. I said today that I think they found proof that when I was in kindergarten I shared some toys with my friends and that’s clearly a sign of subversive activity.”
What did you think of the interview??
Of course Stewart is in favor of Obama, but I am saying that on last night’s interview, he doesn’t praise him! He doesn’t wish him good luck, say anything about hoping he wins, or makes it obvious that he hates McCain and loves Obama. It is actually a very professional interview, and if you make judgements otherwise, you obviously did not see it and therefore should not comment.
I think he did very well and proved he has a good sense of humor about the whole political process and he even complemented McCain if the Republicans can actually believe that.
