Who would have ever THUNK it? The Republicans warned that Barack Obama was the most LIBERAL candidate in history: a person who would take us in a far greater SOCIALISTIC direction. I didn’t believe it so. Yes, Barack wanted a health system for all, but who would have ever guessed that the President of the United States would be firing CEO’s and taking over corporate America as he has and IS?  Not I! 

Capitalism and Socialism alike have their plus and minus columns; however, a move so rapidly in the socialistic direction as we’ve seen in FOUR MONTHS can’t be good for America.

If there’s been a phrase used by Obama and Hillary that’s coming to fruition it’s the one that has been repeated that says, “Take advantage of every bad situation”. And they are. The president of General Motors was fired by Barack. Chrysler Corporation was thrown into bankruptcy by Barack. And now the direction looks all but certain that our government will push General Motors into bankruptcy and then buy the good assets and own General Motors.

General Motors Corp’s (GM.N) plan for a bankruptcy filing involves a quick sale of the company’s healthy assets to a new company initially owned by the U.S. government, a source familiar with the situation said on Tuesday. The source, who would not be named because he was not cleared to speak with the media, did not specify a purchase price. The new company is expected to honor the claims of secured lenders, possibly in full, according to the source.

The government’s plans include giving stakes in the new company to GM’s union and bondholders, although the ownership structure of the company is still being negotiated, said the source who is familiar with the company’s plans. In addition, the government would extend a credit line to the new company and forgive the bulk of the $15.4 billion in emergency loans that the U.S. has already provided to GM, the source said. The government has given GM until June 1 to restructure its operations to lower its debt burden and employee costs.

Who could have ever believed this?

Our government has no money. Our government is TRILLIONS in debt. Our government is faced with losing it’s number one currency position. Our government may lose its triple AAA rating. Our government can’t run a railroad without losing money, not a postal system. What’s the chances of our government running an automobile industry? The odds can’t be good. And the speed into which we’re doing all this sends RED FLAGS to me. And I’m not a Republican with an agenda or bias.
