Why is the presidency of Obama looked at as solely an African American accomplishment?
Many different races pulled together last year to vote for Barack Obama. As I was watching the inauguration yesterday, I felt like all that was mentioned was race and how much the African Americans have accomplished. If it weren’t for all the races in America, Obama would not be in office. I understand he is the first actual African American President, but when is race going to not be an issue?
