Does Barack Obama said the U.S. "War on drugs" during his speech to the NAACP?

I wonder if he addressed a question actually touches the youth of the city more than anything: the illegal drug trade? specifically the "war on drugs" mandatory sentencing laws etc., is still high, or just feel good to give another speech and ends with "Yes We Can"? The only reason I ask this because I remember Ron Paul criticizing Federal war against drugs in the Tavis Smiley debate for the Republican presidential candidates. (Public Predominantly Black) Most of the rooms was in agreement with what he said about this particular issue. Lemanski …………. Ever read about the Netherlands? Why not watch the speech itself? "The responsibility of" personal right? Http: / / www.politico.com/news/stories/0709/25053.html Obama spoke to a number of serious topical issues for the black community and the nation as a whole. It was not a "feel good" speech, but was a excellent speech.
