There is much controversy about Obama's plans to tax the rich and give tax cuts to the class average. Is there any evidence of history or the opinion of the people own to show that this will work? I do not want anyone to be accused by some socialist / Communist. Obama / Biden '08!

As I understand it. Obama wants to raise taxes for anyone per se. He just wants to go back to the stupid Bush tax cuts that were given to large companies. If the economy was in good shape at the end of the Clinton administration, I see how people can think that far back to the tax system will do bad. The tax cuts were wrong when Bush first proposed to pay his cronies who chose him first. (Well – that's another story, was actually chosen ?…) The same tax cuts still wrong. Obama going to have to undo.
