oil skimmers are devices used to remove oil floating on the surface of the liquid. These skimmers just float in the liquid affected by the fluid, and are designed to attract the oil floating in the liquid. The materials used in the manufacture of oil skimmers are able to attract liquid oil only, not the liquid itself.
