Because they know what a burden to society --- illegal immigration first hand. I was born, grew up and lived in California until 2007. Much of the decline of the state can be attributed directly to the problem illegal immigrants, the quality of education because the number of people who do not speak English, hospitals close because they can not afford to remain open with the number of illegals coming from "free healthcare" .... the list is long.
