British politics and history the hard stuff?

Why was there an increase in bennite left in the 1970s and 80s?

There are many reasons, but Thatcher was elected in 1979 after the disaster of the Thatcher government Callaghan left the Political Convention "employment policy consenous "is complete, the welfare state spending and high government and adopted an approach to policy individulastic as has been said and believes" there is no company as "the shame of the work left was a reaction to the politics of law and the election of Michael Foot as their leader who was an old school socialist Dennis Healy rather than fact that they have adopted an approach to the left wing. But to say that there was an increase was misleading as the Working Group was divided difficult to approach on the left wing and the narrow defeat of Tony Benn for the deputy leader of the right meant that he was concerned by the Labour Party electablity. This led to the formation of the SDP with these heavyweights, such as Roy Jenkins and Shirley Williams has left the Labour Party. Works flirtation with the left movement was strongly defeated in the elections 1983. The famous manifesto called "the longest footnote in the history of suicide and bleeding bad performance as leader of the Labour Party was able to hear only 26% the vote just held the Alliance to 24% after the heavy defeat of Michael Foot and Neil Kinnock was elected leader resigned and slaps activists in Liverpool marked the end of the age and job Bennite gradually moved further toward the center. Why was there a movement toward the left within the Labour Party had no appitite on country to return to dark days of the 1970s as they were still very fresh in the minds of voters. Both Mrs Thatcher won a landslide victory in 1983 oppistion split the votes gave him the slip of land, if Labor were elected Healy choice could have been closer (still won), but Labour Party probably would not have to wait until 1997 for re-election
