Do Celebrities Think They Are Smarter Than Non-Celebrities? Yes Political ?

It just really P.Os me when I see articles, see celebrities on TV talking politics! The fans of the people of the stars,-who are just regular peeps like us, will just vote for whoever they endorse for president. Oprah drew 70,000 people for Obama rally, using her fame to get people to vote for who SHE WANTS- It should be against the law! Oprah, George Clooney, Shawn Penn, Micheal Moore- numerous others – If you want to sway people to vote for someone go into politics and stay out of the movie/tv world. Its 2 SEPERATE things! Stop Taking Advantage Of people! Just like the reporters on TV! Who Cares what you think! I don’t , but I can see ALOT of people who do care that makes it easier for them to decide- when their “Hero” tells who to vote for. Its just so sad that Stars take advantage like that! I don’t ever want to watch Oprah again because of it. This is a real reality, don’t denie it- people get lazy and don’t even watch the debates.

I don’t think they think that they’re “smarter”; however, as celebrities, they are used to everyone paying attention to them and feigning interest in their opinions. So they feel compelled to weigh in on anything and everything, even things about which they know absolutely nothing. It has more to do with their self-centeredness than anything else. I have lots of opinions, but I know that no one else gives a sht. Celebrities have lost the ability to recognize that no one really cares what they think. Curt Schilling is a great example.
