What do you think of Hillary’s new health care plan?

I like that she’s working on something because it is important. Times have changed. We are all about progress, aren’t we? (even if it is in a negative direction) We need a health plan that is stable for all Americans because people are changing jobs and careers much more often now. If businesses are not able to provide a stable environment for their employees then the government must do it. It is necessary for a peaceful and progressive existence. We need to work better at stomping out the corruption. I don’t know why it’s ok for our government officials who are filthy rich to take money from the government and put it towards their pet projects or to have the most generous benefits at our expense. That is not ok. Who is the government responsible to? It should be the people. We need to stand up and take our government once and for all. It should be representing everyone. Why should it only represent the rich and mighty? That is a tiny percentage of the U.S. This is not about providing health care for the poor. I hate to break the news but the poor are already covered at our expense. Who is not covered? Our hard-working and taxpaying people who change jobs or lose their jobs for whatever reason and cannot afford health insurance because it is ridiculously expensive. Right now my father who is 64 is not covered because he was laid off again. He is an electrical engineer and that’s common in his field. He is without health insurance. He is a very hardworking man. Growing up, he worked about 80 hours a week. He also is an avid reader and invests in the stock market. People that know him and know me always told me how brilliant my father is. Hillary’s plan would cover the rest of us who deserve to have health insurance. You guys need to wake up and realize that the poor already have health insurance paid for by us as do our government workers, again paid for by us. Health insurance premiums continue to rise at an accelerated pace. There are more contract workers now than probably ever before and they have to pay for their own insurance and a lot of them cannot afford it because wages are not keeping up with the cost of living. I have health insurance but I don’t know how stable my job is. Do you? How stable is your job? I have been looking for a different job and have been unable to find one. There are plenty of low paying jobs but I have bills to pay. I cannot afford to take a huge pay cut. Can you? My dad is looking for work but it’s hard to come by because he gets paid a lot due to his experience, breadth and depth of knowledge. He has a lot to offer to companies but they can get cheaper candidates from China and India. He knows a guy who brings in software engineers from India because he can get them for cheap. Meanwhile he is living in a mansion with lots of expensive toys. It is at our expense. I wish people would wake up to the real world before it’s too late and it’s in their face enough where they cannot deny it anymore.
