Gordon Brown rapped by statistics watchdog over misleading statements on immigration, is this any surprise?

“In an internet podcast last week Mr Brown had claimed that net immigration into Britain had fallen sharply in 2009.

However, it emerged shortly afterwards that he had used incomparable figures between 2008 and 2009 to make the claim.”
