No Republican Steven Colbert is being sarcastic?

Given some of the messages I read on Yahoo! Answers I'm not sure everyone knows that Colbert plays a character, some people seem to believe that it blows my mind, and not even watch? Although neither Republican or Democrat (I am a libertarian), I tend to err on the conservative side of most issues and I hope that both sides could have a good time ridiculing the absurdities that abound on both sides of the political spectrum (not just the Republicans who make these crazy things). Personally, I think conservatives feel threatened, they all want to get them and no one will listen to what they say outside of Fox News, and you're upset and that fear must be strong and powerful and to condemn and take into people. I tell you truly enjoy a show with a conservative when based on The Daily Show and The Colbert Report amused, for less to be angry and let new to talk to herself, with a comment that makes me laugh and think at the same time. Instead of this, I'm scared and angry when I try to see Bill O'Reilly. It seems very happy man. I'm not saying that all conservatives are austere and mean, angry and sad people.
