Was Christy right that the people of NJ have rejected the ugly politics of slander & personal attacks?

Sorry liberals, those of you who watch MSNBC won’t know what I’m talking about, because after 20 seconds into Christy’s acceptance speech, Rachel Maddow cut him off to indulge in a 20 minute long discussion on gay marriage in Maine to fill the airwaves… *yawn*
Exit polls did show a lot of people were turned off by the negative ads, but Christy had a big lead until they started, so I think negative is here to stay.
