Poll: What do you guys think of first year college students who feel the need to lecture you and school you ..?
on their “new outlook” based on taking a first year course on something they barely know anything about (oh I dunno, politics, philosophy, social studies, etc.) and completed with a mark in the range of C – F?
Do we have to put up with them?
I’m asking this out of frustration because my g/f’s younger brother is on his high horse after completing his first fall semester here and pretty soon I’m gonna break his head open if he doesn’t step off.
By the way, in case you’re wondering: yes I’ve gone to college and, in fact, I’ve had a bachelor’s degree for about a year now but, nevertheless, I don’t talk rubbish like as if I know everything from having spent 4 years at university.
The propaganda in college is strong stuff. The intelligent people learn to recognize it and avoid it. Guess your girlfriend’s younger brother isn’t that bright.
