First Impressions

Echoing my recent announcement , we'll meet again … I thought it would be interesting to see how first impressions can influence our views of others and their opinions of us. In turn, first impressions can influence the willingness to work together or not. Have you ever regretted a moment that you have not done a good first impression? Do you wish you can have your time again to make a positive impression? I'm sure you're not alone. We can all think of a time that was lost. As the old saying: "You do not has a second chance to make a good first impression.

* According to a university, those decisions are eleven of us in the first seven seconds of contact.

And then, according to this study, the rest of his time is dedicated to finding evidence to prove his original impression of that person, if this impression is true or not. This study highlights the importance of creating a good first impression.

Here's an interesting exercise to test the impact make a good impression:

  • Check the next 10 places to spend their money, either in person or by telephone, and do with How well the people who come into contact with a favorable impression with you.
  • Notice how greets you when you call or visit a business or are contacted by employees.
  • How effective are to create a favorable and positive impression with you?
  • Do you pay attention to you and treat it as you want be treated?
  • How can you and your team make a good first impression?

Not everyone knows how to look good. Many people are often too preoccupied with themselves to pay attention for you. And many people forget about the use of the courtesy that could make the difference when communicating with you. Courtesy, unfortunately, is not so common more. Here are some tips to make a good first impression:

  • Tune your own world and – really listen and pay attention to what they say and do.
  • Think about what you can learn more about them and in turn what you learn about yourself by interacting with them.
  • Think: "There is something in you that I love, especially if you are very different.
  • Every time someone treats you kindly, show your appreciation, express gratitude and offer their thanks.
  • Spread the dark clouds of sadness and the spread of sunshine in your smile. Remember that a smile is a curve that can straighten many problems.

I hope this is in line to help you and your team to take positive first impression these people to interact, whether business or personal level.
