Religion and politics – The St. Sofia Hollow

Religion is politics and politics is a religion. May be different for some, but certainly mix, because they are so closely related that one can say that "as one."

Religion is very political. Ask anyone with a religious organization, if people who practice politics. At first they may deny it, as most groups of people in places of worship I like to think they are above politics, but an honest person agree, religion is the level of the eye in the fog of maneuvers and wars of micro-mind. Where people, there is no policy, and when the mixture of two so that they become almost indistinguishable major wars are the inevitable fruit of that union.

Take one of the most famous religious figures – the man called Jesus Christ. He had 12 disciples, he was their teacher or teacher of philosophy or wisdom – the "edge" and "Sophie" are the Greek words meaning "Love of wisdom".

When we read in the Gospels that his followers acted towards him and interact with each other we quickly became political. They competed for space and power both in the here and now and beyond, seeking to be greatest in the kingdom of heaven, and wisdom Pure his master had taught them gradually corrupted – and not from above, but natural and land – and as an apostle said – demonic.

His group also found disagreement with other political and religious organizations, like the scribes and Pharisees and the Sadducees – each faction within the party, and having their own system of beliefs and interpretations of Scripture, often arguing among themselves. Has not changed much in more than 2000 years.

He and his followers soon discovered that disagree with the political groups the most powerful of his time – the power to control the power of Judaism and Roman domination. Rome believed in the power of Caesar and the Roman Empire, Judaism and the power of the Lord and Israel. And as the story continues, because he opposed the two, was killed for the opposition. If we are honest about the story, we see clearly that those most violently opposed the suggestion of the conspiracy were also predisposed him – his own family, and "very true" that attests – the kingdom of heaven, was also killed that day.

Throughout the ages religion and politics have caused countless conflicts large and small. reactions caustic those who adhere to the opposition philosophies have changed the world in all cultures and beliefs. Some might argue that this was a necessary evil and that more than once led us to the world civilization as we know, but you must ask yourself, "At what price?

Blood has been shed enough to flood an ocean basin in the name of religion and politics, and it seems that water does not exit in the short term, wars of religion and politics continues to this day. Brother kills brother over philosophies, and "this love of wisdom" has quickly turned to love hatred. The political party leaders are killed, by name and reputation, and the same body, as in the political assassinations of the 60 – the loss of three beautiful – JFK, RFK and Martin Luther King. The religious fervor of the policy could cause such a thing. Power has not conscious and crucify any opposition to sit.

The more things change the more they remain themselves. Civilization is not as civilized as we see in this light. The first thing to be sacrificed on the altar of power control is the foundation of truth, "Love of wisdom." Proverbs speaks of the wisdom as something "first" – the most important, the precious object to be superior in all our minds, and looked all our heart.

Without wisdom is like the beast we are animals that eat each other on the path of eternal severe dust the earth – with the wisdom that we are like gods, because we are like "gods", Jesus says, and the practice of heavenly wisdom, are becoming citizens of the kingdom which is above, and as followers of the finish line first, says Jesus, is for the kingdom of Earth. In which failed miserably, despite two millennia, his teachings.

It has been said that "power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely." If this is true, then we must at all costs limit the powers of religion and politics are insidious because the two powers have been and continue to corrupt, and where religion and politics mingle with each other as complete as it is corruption! A great thing has a seed of a disaster, it can make a nation knees in a few years.

In less than a decade a great nation has fallen from prosperity to poverty, and the only wisdom seems be produced by power is what is earthly and demonic – the selfishness and greed. He is a great pain to see the rich get richer and the poor poor on the backs of the same people who believe so fervently religious and political rhetoric that came out of the marriage of both.

Is a slap in the face of the same people that Jesus came to die for – the poor – to view the bankrupt rich rescued and saved from disaster and bankruptcy poorest in the disaster and despair. Without faith hope and a vision, a nation perish – perhaps even

a planet of nations.

When this man Jesus finally returns, he will find faith and hope on earth? We need a new vision – hopefully without religion and policy. For both schemes the powers that be must be civilized So far it has worked for the good of humanity. Jesus, come quickly!
