Loyalists during the American Revolution?

Loyalist:
1. One who maintains loyalty to an established government, political party, or sovereign, especially during war or revolutionary change.

I’m curious to know, what is your personal opinion of Loyalists during the American Revolution, considering you are on the patriots side? Would you consider them the enemy? Or would you consider them neutrals as long as they didn’t interfere or aid the British?

As we move closer to the next American Civil War to defend freedom and rid the continent of the Illuminati, there are of course going to be Loyalist Americans still loyal to the corrupt pre-existing tyranny. Will you regard them as the enemy? If they (the loyalists) decide to fight the Patriots, would you fight back?

In so far as the Loyalists of my region, the South, during the Revolutionary War, they did not remain “neutral”. My opinion of them is similar to the opinion of the Patriots of that era and best described in this British summary of the Battle of Kings Mountain.

About 80 years later, the Patriots of the same region were invaded by another set of Loyalists, but of the same mind as the previous set. Each were determined to force the Patriots to submit to a government they were no longer willing to voluntarily give consent to govern.

If present day Loyalists to an unconstitutional government determine that force of arms is what is needed to get compliance, then the armed fight will commence.

I’m holding out hope that the states will regain the spirit of 1787 and use their Constitution to end the unconstitutional mess in Washington by amending it out of existence and instituting a proper government with newly refined rules for its operation using the lessons learned on where they went wrong during the last 200 years.
