Who would you rather have as President of the United States? Barack Obama or Sarah Palin?
Firstly, I’m British so I don’t really have an opinion on this.
If voting on this in the states it would be for Barack Obama. Mainly because Barack Obama is educated, well mannered and has fixed the image of the United States around the world. Sarah Palin isn’t the sharpest knife in the draw it’s fair to say and she has some extreme right wing views which would serve America poorly. I also think that if Sarah Palin was elected, all the countries that now respect America, under Obama, would have no respect with Palin. As if she’d be a more extreme version of G. W…

So the USA had a lot of respect and admiration from countries around the world under George W. Bush did it? Tell me the names of those countries if you can, it would make interesting reading. I believe that under G.W.B. America was more of a laughing stock considering the stupidity of some of his speeches. As for his knowledge of foreign countries, well just remember that he couldn’t name the leaders of some of the most important countries in the world. We don’t have to do a lot of homework to find out what Sarah Palin’s views are or her political ideals. Obama may not be very popular at home, but he is far more popular overseas than Palin will ever be. It seems to me that most of the gripes about Obama are fundamentally to do with the colour of his skin.
