China censor Obama inauguration speech ?
We read that China censored part of Barack Obama’s inauguration speech when broadcast on Chinese TV. Obama’s reference to “Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions,” was too much to bear for the Chinese regime.
Should Obama’s inauguration speech writer have not taken more care, less his new President offend the facists and communists of this world ? is it possible to write a inauguration speech for a new American President, without offending someone ?
