How many more Democrat congressional leaders will distance themselves from Obama?
Freshman Sen. Kay Hagan (D-N.C.) will not attend President Barack Obama’s speaking engagement in the Tar Heel state Friday.
Hagan was invited to the event but cannot make it because her return from Afghanistan has been delayed, according to her office.
The North Carolina senator, who is on the Armed Services Committee, this week traveled to Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan with Sens. Jack Reed (D-R.I.), another member of the armed services panel and Sen. Ted Kaufman (D-Del.)
Obama is scheduled to deliver remarks on the economy Friday, wrapping up a week in which he spoke about oil and gas drilling in Maryland and rehealthcare form in Maine.

It depends on how well the liberal media can spin all this over the next 5 months. If they can do what they always do and brainwash our citizens to believe that the economy is recovering and there is no problem with healthcare, then very few will separate themselves. If, however, people learn to actually research issues instead of just “trusting what they hear on tv”, then you can expect a lot of people trying to distance themselves from Obama, especially if their district is against his policies. But don’t worry, once they get re-elected, they’ll jump right back in Obama’s pocket….
