Christians: What do you think of this quote from George Carlin?

"I do not know how you feel, but I'm sick of people from the church. You know what to do with churches? The tax on them. If people are so holy interested in politics, government and public policy, pay the entrance fee like everyone else. The Catholic Church could only erase the national debt, if their real property taxes "George Carlin -.

shooting! Did not Jesus himself said in Mark 12:17 "And Jesus said," Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's and unto God what is God's. "" But some reason, people like Pat Robertson and Ted Haggard (tax evasion) choose to look the other

Introduction – The title of this post is a spin-off article by Joshua Mea – "Surround the Dragon" who by chance was also my last post.

Interestingly, these days, I saw a flurry of articles on Internet in India relations – China, some of them to be outrageously funny and frightening, where the authors have made some assumptions that lead us to believe that China is sooner rather than later, attacked India. Currently, most of that article, originally written in Chinese and translated into English by a large number of bloggers in the last line days, finally found space in The Times of India (at least the online version).

No comments largely on the assumptions of these authors and its frightening conclusions in the articles, I prefer to throw some light on a harsh reality that is also well represented exploited by The author who belongs to our neighbor to the north. Many people have talked about this in reality various forums, must remain, and while I finished writing my post, maybe some others who are in the same issue as well.

Now to put things in perspective, I would like to split this message into two of the idea:

  • The idea of India, and
  • The idea of being Indian

The Idea of India – In the preamble to the Constitution of India states that India is a "sovereign socialist secular democratic Republic'governed by the principles of justice, freedom, equality and fraternity ", the country is actually born with the idea of law and the principles necessary for growth, freedom and prosperity. Although there is no confusion about the idea of India for us and the world, but many of us Indians have a deep subliminal confusion when This is the idea of being Indian.

The idea of being Indian - If you get the idea of India and the description and definition of the principles and ideas by which a board of India should not be a difficult decision. At least not be a difficult decision, literally. But unfortunately, we should be practical here. At the time you get the practice and is close to reality, you know the principles that Indians generally keep our hand close to zero Justice, Freedom, Equality and Fraternity. "

Of super-rich politicians and the beggar on the street and the man command unauthorized India, each of us one way or another, always end up defining themselves as Punjabi, Marwari, etc. Gujarati, Marathi, or to the definition worse by the caste system. I think everyone are equally responsible for this as much as our reservation system, etc, is the creation of the drift of all.

The system, which could be useful in 1940 and 1950 to empower the socially backward classes does not necessarily mean it will be useful on stage today. The level of education, health standards, level of consciousness, everything has increased, and the continuation of this reservation system, our separation is our case.

Individually, and instead of consolidating our indigenous identity, we chose to be known as a Hindu / Muslim / Christian … or Punjabi / Bengali / Marwari / Tamil … and so on ….

Before you start scratching your head thinking of the relevance of what I wrote above relations between India and China, let me tell you what the Chinese were talking about. It is precisely this weakness of ours, now operated by China, where political scientists are writing articles to urge the government Chinese and other friendly countries like Pakistan to attack India and is divided into several parts, where the functions of Bengali life is separated from the Punjabi and Tamil should remain different as Kerala, etc … It may sound funny little and unimportant, but that is exactly the greatest weakness of our nation. I think that it is not at all difficult, with time China and Pakistan to support various separatist groups throughout India and the poisoning of the very idea of India.

Unfortunately, our Indianness and our identity as Indians do when we see our country or play cricket. Most often they are victims of dirty politics, and then calls rituals of our past, and forget the principles of equality and fraternity. First of all, it's time to turn the idea of being truly Indian.

Welcome Guest.
